Aprendizaje personalizado con IA generativa para enseñar la conservación de la energía mecánica según niveles cognitivos.

Resumen

La investigación explora el potencial de la inteligencia artificial generativa para personalizar el aprendizaje de la ley de conservación de la energía mecánica a futuros profesores de Física de una universidad pública ecuatoriana, considerando las limitaciones de infraestructura y los retos para incorporar pedagógicamente tecnologías emergentes. Método: Se empleó un enfoque mixto explicativa secuencial con predominio cuantitativo y un diseño preexperimental de grupo único (n = 9). Para la recolección de datos, se empleó una prueba de opción múltiple alineado con los niveles cognitivos, tanto para el pretest como para el postest; una encuesta de Likert que incluyó preguntas abiertas sobre la experiencia con un tutor generativo usando Gemini. Resultados: Los hallazgos mostraron un aumento en el promedio de aciertos que va desde el 52,8 % hasta el 88,0 % donde se observaron avances notables en la comprensión, aplicación y creación, así como un progreso hacia el nivel máximo cognitivo. Además, la percepción estudiantil fue positiva en cuanto a utilidad, motivación e impacto en el aprendizaje, con una carga cognitiva moderada. Conclusiones: La tutoría socrática mediada por IA, con supervisión docente, favorece aprendizajes más profundos y un uso crítico de la tecnología, aunque se requieren muestras mayores y diseños comparativos para fortalecer la validez externa de los hallazgos.
